This page is maintained by the IoMT.today editorial team to answer common privacy questions about the IoMT.today publication. It describes the information we collect, why we collect it, and the limits we place on its use. It is not a legal contract and is not independently certified.
No advertising
IoMT.today does not run advertising of any kind. We do not embed third-party ad networks, retargeting pixels, affiliate trackers, or behavioural advertising tooling. Readers are never the product.
What we collect
- Newsletter sign-ups: the email address you provide, used solely to send the IoMT.today briefing.
- Contact and submissions: the name, email, optional organization, and message contents you submit via our forms.
- Privacy-respecting analytics: aggregate page-view and event counts (for example, which articles are read) collected through Google Analytics 4. IP addresses are anonymised by the provider; we do not build advertising profiles.
How we use it
- To deliver newsletters you have explicitly subscribed to.
- To respond to inquiries, tips, corrections, and submissions.
- To understand which topics resonate, in aggregate, so we can improve editorial coverage.
What we never do
- Sell, rent, or trade reader data.
- Share submitted tips or correspondence outside the editorial team.
- Use reader data to train third-party machine-learning models.
Retention & deletion
Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. Contact submissions are retained for as long as is operationally useful and then deleted. To request deletion of any personal data we hold about you, write to the editorial desk via the Contact page.
Cookies
We use only the cookies required to operate the site and to support our privacy-respecting analytics. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set.
Changes
Material changes to this statement will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
