IoMT.today commissions and reviews original analysis on connected medical devices, healthcare cybersecurity, regulation, and remote patient monitoring. We do not run advertising, sponsored content, or vendor-supplied posts — every published piece is selected on editorial merit.

What we publish

• Field analysis — deep dives on a specific device class, protocol, regulatory action, or clinical workflow.
• Technical teardowns — firmware, hardware, or architectural breakdowns with reproducible methodology.
• Policy commentary — informed perspective on Health Canada, PIPEDA, FDA, EMA, MDR, HIPAA, NIS2, and related regimes from practitioners.
• Clinical practice notes — first-hand experience deploying connected devices in care settings.

What we do not accept

• Press releases as-published, marketing copy, or product launch announcements in their original form. That said, we welcome press releases as source material: submit one as the basis for a technical article and our editorial team will consider commissioning or developing an independent analysis around it. Use the Contact form and select Press release submission as the topic.
• Sponsored, paid, or affiliate content of any kind.
• Pieces written primarily to drive traffic to a commercial offering.
• Wholly AI-generated submissions. Tools may assist, but the analysis, sources, and voice must be the contributor’s own.

Format

• Length: 1,200–3,500 words for analysis; 400–800 words for commentary.
• Structure: a clear thesis in the first three paragraphs, supporting evidence, and a forward-looking conclusion.
• Sources: linked primary sources where possible. Forward-looking claims must disclose methodology.
• Conflicts: disclose any financial, employment, or advisory relationship relevant to the subject.
• Imagery: rights-cleared figures, diagrams, or photography are welcomed; the editorial team can commission illustration where needed.

Exclusivity & rights

Submissions should be original and not previously published. We request a 30-day exclusivity window from the publication date, after which contributors retain full rights to republish with attribution to IoMT.today.

Compensation

We pay a flat honorarium for commissioned analysis and technical teardowns. Rates are agreed in writing before work begins. Commentary and short-form contributions are unpaid but are credited prominently.

Send a 150-word pitch — thesis, evidence you intend to draw on, and a short bio — via the Contact form with topic set to Editorial inquiry. The editorial team responds to all serious pitches within five business days.

Brand & logo use

Publications referencing IoMT.today may use the wordmark in editorial contexts without prior approval. Do not modify the mark, imply endorsement, or use it in commercial or advertising materials. For a vector logo pack, contact the editorial desk.
